Overview

Pharchamo Peak(6,187m) is a fantastic peak in the outskirts of the famous Tashi Lapcha Pass in the Rolwaling region of Nepal. It was climbed in 1955 by Phil Boultbee and Dennis Davis for the first time. With duration, the peak has become a dream peak for many adventure lovers, particularly newbies.

Pharchamo Peak Climb is a straightforward climb in the Rolwaling Himal Range. The journey to the top of Pharchamo Peak begins with a trek through the Rolwaling Valley. For that reason, it is often called Rolwaling Valley Trek cum Pharchamo Peak climbing. To reach the base camp of Pharchamo Peak, we cross numerous settlements, varied landscapes, and dense vegetation of the valley. All around, we explore the unexplored site of east-central Nepal.

Enroute, we cross the Tsho Rolpa Lake, one of the biggest glacial lakes in Nepal. Similarly, we travel above Tashi Lapcha Pass(5,755m), an adventurous pass to climb. After walking, we arrive in Tashi Cape(Parchamo Base Camp) to bring our body and climbing gears into play. The early morning push to the summit will bring us to Pharchamo Peak Climb’s top for the successful climb and breathtaking mountain vistas.

And after the climb, you will descend to trek towards Everest Region’s popular stops such as Thame, Namche Bazaar, and Lukla. The trekking experience in the Everest region will be a bonus thing to you on this expedition. A scenic flight from Lukla to Kathmandu will complete the trek in a fashion.

The expedition of Pharchamo Peak Climb is a less technical one. It slightly tests during the last push. For that part, you shall have some technical climbing skills to overcome that. Other than that, the climb should be a moderate one for you. Anyone with basic climbing skills and some high-altitude experience or training can complete the expedition.

You on Pharchamo Peak Climb will get to do a lot of adventures. The trekking that runs through Rolwaling Valley is one fantastic experience. Experiencing the life and air of the raw and virgin valley is a unique thing to do. Likewise, you’ll reach Tashi Lapcha Pass, one of the dramatic mountain passes in Nepal. Crossing the pass is another experience worth adding to your book.

Most of all, Pharchamo Peak’s victorious ascend will be a ladder for the further climbs in your life. After doing Pharchamo Peak Climb, you will be ready for the higher climbs in the Himalayas or anywhere else. So come and join us on this adventure.

The trip was well worth it! I was in Nepal last Autumn with the team of Shiva and Kiran, whom I knew from my colleagues. I was confused about where to go. But my expert friends, Shiva and Kiran, suggested I do their best-selling Nepal Panorama Tour. I'm glad they suggested it. I am not a hiking person, my body does not let me be. So I went on a tour of Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Chitwan. In Kathmandu, I saw a lot of historical and time-traveling sites. Pokhara was so much vivid by Fewa Lake; I enjoyed the boat riding there. And Chitwan was unimaginably full of nature. I saw rhinos, elephants, birds, crocodiles. I was expecting the Bengal Tiger, but luck did not favor me. Except for that, Chitwan treated me quite well. Overall, the trip felt so smooth and rewarding. I traveled around Nepal panoramically. Thanks!

After Everest Base Camp Trek, I did tour to Pokhara and Chitwan National Park. I am thankful to Shiva and his Sabbatical Explore Team for managing a great guide for my trek. I knew the trek is beautiful but not entirely. All the prayer flags, busy farm fields, like traditional hamlets, and yes giant peaks, these all are running through my mind while writing this. Thanks for this amazing trek. The guide helped me deal with the challenges of the trek without getting anxious. Thanks to him and the team! I suggest this group of experts to everyone reading my experience. You won't regret joining them. I am not!

We had a great time with Shiva and his team, from being picked up from the airport to being dropped off there, everything was just perfect!  We had "culture tour and a trip to Shaman Village" Hiking.  Got to see many cultural sites around Kathmandu and was an incredible experience in monastery visiting monks. The program was great and fantastic as far as we wanted away from the tourist crowds, all accommodations were good. It’s really a great opportunity to explore Nepal as local.
The “TeamSabbatical” were very helpful and friendly as well. When we have a questions or a problem can find someone on the spot immediately to find a answer and solve it. We highly recommend the trip Meet the Monks with Boudhanath Stupa tour, and the Kathmandu Cultural tour together.
