Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
You will make your arrival at Kathmandu Airport. Our representatives from Sabbatical Explore Nepal will be at the airport for your hassle-free arrival. After your arrival, the team will lead you to your hotel in Kathmandu. You will take a rest at the hotel. Later, you can go on free wandering around the city, if only time allows. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal and Trek to Chisapani
The adventure to Helambu Village will kick off with a drive out of the city's chaos. We will reach Sundarijal after a short drive which is at the foothills of Shivapuri National Park. Taking a walk through the greenery of the park, we will climb to the top of Chisapani. It will be a walk of 4 to 5 hours to cross a Tamang settlement of Mulkhara. We will have a short pause at the village before continuing the trek to reach Chisapani. Upon reaching Chisapani, we will enjoy a lovely evening view of the mountains and hills. Overnight in Chisapani.

Day 3: Trek from Chisapani to Kutumsang
We will wake up to another lovely view in Chisapani. Having our breakfast, we will start the day by joining a descending trek through the meadows and rice terraces. The hike will take us to Pathi Bhanjyang, a small village. Next, we trek ahead to Gul Bhanjyang, a famous pass of the trek. Enjoying some more views on the pass, we will make a descent to take us to Kutumsang, our day stops after a walk of 6 to 7 hours.

Day 4: Trek from Kutumsang to Tharepati
We will leave Kutumsang behind by moving towards the northern hills and mountains. Along the track, the trek will bestow us some of the best views of the snowy peaks. Moving further, we will climb a steep hill full of rhododendrons and fir trees with no settlements at all. A little later, we will reach Yurin Danda for some more of the mountain views. From there, we will reach Magen Goth, a place of few lodges with a breathtaking mountain view. We will settle for the night.

Day 5: Trek from Tharepati to Tarkeghyang
From Tharepati, we will take a walk to Tarkeghyang, a lovely Sherpa Village in the Helambu Region. This day will bring us closer to the communities of the region to know their culture and lifestyle. It will be a trek in the direction of the East, descending through Melamchi Village. In the village, we will explore some important and historical Buddhist monasteries, stupas, and shrines. Out of Melamchi, we will start moving towards Tarkeghyang. The total trek of 6 hours will end in the village. We will get to know the people of the village who belong to the Hyolmo community. Overnight in the hamlet.

Day 6: Trek from Tarkeghyang to Sermanthang
Now, we will head towards Sermanthang, another must-visit village of the region. Without gaining much altitude, we will trek through the deep forest, by streams and rivers. Along the day, several Sherpa villages like Parachin and Gangyul will come along. At the end of the trek of 5 hours, we will reach the destination popular for monasteries and spirituality. Alongside, we will see awe-inspiring mountain views from the village. Overnight in the village.

Day 7: Trek from Sermanthang to Melamchi Bazaar and Drive to Kathmandu
Trek Duration3 to 4 hours
This will be the last day of Helambu Village Terk in the Helambu Region. We will make it worth every second by exploring the region. Firstly, we will have a lovely trek of 3 hours to Melamchi Bazaar through many traditional villages and their terraced fields. From Melamchi Bazaar, we will join a drive of 4 hrs to Kathmandu. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 8: Departure from Kathmandu
If you would like to join another trip with us, we start preparing for that. Otherwise, we will leave you at the airport for your departure from Nepal. Farewell!
