After breakfast in Hotel, we drive 29 km to reach Kakani. It will take about one hours.We will stard an easy trek along with forests of rhododendron, isolated hamlets, and small mountain villages, birds, animals and breathtaking landscapes.
Breakfast with magnificent view of Himalayas. After breakfast we start trek Nagi Gumba, a monastery in a hill from where you can see outstanding view of Kathmandu valley. The trek goes along with pine and rhododendron forests, isolated settlements and Temples and Monasteries. Stopping at Tokha is a short break to see day-to-day life activities of locals. It is less explored area and off the beaten route to Nagi Gumba.
Trek goes uphill to Shivapuri national park walking through pine and rhododendron forests. Small Temples and Monasteries with breathtaking landscapes come across the national park. Friendly villagers of Tamangs and Brahmins/ Kshatriyas offer fascinating glimpse of traditional rural life. Langtang and Gosainkunda Himals (mountains) smile on us and we capture them in our camera while trekking up to Chispani.
Walking about 4 to 5 hours we reach to Nagarkot, very popular tourist destination for long range panoramic views of Himalayas including Mt. Everest. It is in 2175m high from sea level where we can enjoy sunset and sunrise view. This are villages of Thakuri Tamang, Gurung, Brahmin, Kshatriya and and their farm village life style in hilly region and view the green valley.
