Nepal, a gem country in Asia, is a land of breathtaking peaks, raw natural beauty, and iconic traditional villages. If you have been searching for an easy and short trek that can serve all of those highlights, Helambu Village Trek by Sabbatical Explore Nepal is one to opt for.
Located in the Langtang Region of Nepal, Helambu Village Trek is one of the awe-inspiring short treks to do. The trek goes about the Helambu Village, home to the Indigenous Hyolmo people and many Buddhist monasteries. Anyone who does this trek gets to experience traditional village life and pure natural beauty. It is just a fantastic experience to have in your memories and mind for the rest of your life.
Helambu Village Trek begins just outside Kathmandu, from Sundarijal, one of the entrances to the bold Langtang Region. Traversing through the woods of Shivapuri National Park, pinpointing the Chisapani Peak, the trek takes you into the beautiful Helambu Region. Moreover, one on the trek trail can view peaks like Ganesh Himal, Gaurishankar, Langtang Lirung, etc.
As said earlier, the iconic villages of Tamang, Sherpa, and Hyolmo people will also come along. And that is how and where a trekker will get to know the region's lifestyle and culture. The trek is one of the easiest treks to do in Nepal; the pinpoint of the trek is just around 3,500m(Tharepati). Anyone who is not a high-altitude trekker can choose this trek to gain some experience on that ground.
In a nutshell, Helambu Village Trek is perfect for those who do not have much time to trek in Nepal and much experience for a high-elevation trek. In 6 days of the trek, you will know what it feels like to walk in the Himalayas around the traditional villages of Nepal.

Enjoying some more views on the pass, we will make a descent to take us to Kutumsang, our day stops after a walk of 6 to 7 hours.
We will leave Kutumsang behind by moving towards the northern hills and mountains. Along the track, the trek will bestow us some of the best views of the snowy peaks. Alongside, we will see awe-inspiring mountain views from the village. Overnight in the village.

We recently made trip to Nepal. Shiva from Sabbatical Explore Nepal helped us finalizing trekking itinerary. It was a great trek to Langtang Region. We started it from Syafru Beshi and Gatlang and made very interesting and impressive Tamang Heritage trails. Completing Tamang Heritage trek, we reached to Lama Hotel through Thuman, Bhridim, Nagthali and Surka. We all enjoyed our time in Langtang Valley, Kenjing Gomba, Kenjing Ri, and Tsergo Ri. Our Porter and Guide were good & kind. They did the best care of us on trek and we already miss them.

The trek of Kalo and Seto Kunda was with the guide and he had arranged of vehicles from Kathmandu to Syabrubeshi which takes 8 to 9 hours to reach Syabrubeshi. Syabrubeshi is taken as the gateway to Langtang valley which is situated at the confluence of Bhotekosi River and Langtang Khola. i and my friend will defenately visit again to Kathmandu and we are sure for Social Tourism & Sabbatical Explore Nepal are the best career break trip planner in Nepal.

“I had a lot of fun on this trek. We had a seven days trek to Langtang from Kathmandu. My guide Sabin karki was super awesome. He was motivating, fun, and the perfect companion for the given situation. I am more than happy with the service provided on this trip. They organized the whole trek in a way that allowed me to both acclimatize progressively and enjoy the Langtang valley beauty. I had a blast and had the time of my life. Thank you so much, Sabbatical Explore Nepal, and Sabin karki for making this trip possible :).”
