Overview

Kathmandu Chitwan and Lumbini Tour is a special tour by Sabbatical Explore Nepal. It is a handcrafted Nepal Tour package for admirers of Nepal’s art, history, culture, and nature. Let’s unknot what this tour is all about.

As said earlier, Kathmandu Chitwan and Lumbini Tour is a distinct itinerary to explore Nepal. It is an eight-day plan to visit Nepal’s three most popular stations. Let’s begin with Kathmandu. You will join us on this tour by arriving in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. If you are not aware, Kathmandu is a historical Valley with rich architecture, culture, and art. The valley is dotted with seven different UNESCO cultural heritage sites; we’ll visit most of them.

Next, we travel to Chitwan to add some adventure to the tour. The adventure will happen when we enter the Chitwan National Park, the best Jungle Safari in Nepal.  In there, we’ll encounter the loaded Jungle Kingdom and, maybe, the king Royal Bengal Tiger during our time in the park. And many things will happen in Chitwan, from Jungle Safari, Jungle Walks to Lake visits. Isn’t that so exciting? Wait, it’s not finished yet!

Afterward, we’ll reach Lumbini, the birthplace of Gautama Buddha, the founder of Buddhism. The pilgrimage site in Lumbini is a peaceful place to be. We will get enlightening vibes throughout the area. Many Buddhist monasteries, gompas, shrines, and temples, including the Iconic Maya Devi Temple, are there to visit. We will explore as many as possible. And, finally, the Kathmandu Chitwan and Lumbini Tour will conclude back in Kathmandu with many remembrances worth sharing.

To sum up, Kathmandu Chitwan Lumbini Tour is a multi-experience tour taking you to places in Nepal for multiple experiences. You’ll know the rich history & architecture, cultural & religious diversity, and natural offerings of Nepal in one trip. We guess you surely would like to have this one on your next-visit list.

After Bhaktapur, we went to trekking to Kalo and Seto kunda.  It was major with two holy lakes  of Nepal which helps to shows the Himalayan beauty of Ganesh Himal. The one who offers for trekking in Kalo and Seto Kunda got a great opportunity to learn and experience typical Tamang and Gurung culture.

The trek of Kalo and Seto Kunda was with the guide and he had arranged of vehicles from Kathmandu to Syabrubeshi which takes 8 to 9 hours to reach Syabrubeshi. I had an amazing experience with Sabbatical Explore Nepal when I visited Nepal during my Gap year 2018. Our guide and driver were so experienced and helpful. I remember seeing many animals like tigers, deers, rhinos during Jungle Safari in Chitwan. I even went to the Elephant Breeding Centre and that was amazing. In Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha I visited Maya Devi Temple and other monasteries. I was mesmerized by the architectural designs of the Temples and Monasteries built by different countries. I was a little sad that I couldn't visit other amazing places but the 6 days I spent in Nepal were very meaningful and memorable. I am looking forward to my next trip to Nepal.

Katmandu, Bhaktapur Patan, and another locals city I forgot the name ( Themi) are the most interesting cultural cities for sightseeing in Katmandu valley. It's a very very vibrant and tremendous and much rich culture in Nepal. I went to Pokhara and on the way rafting in the river was great fun. 8 days of trekking to Khopra's dada was awesome and amazing with the fabulous horizontal mountain view of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna series. After the trek, I went to Chitwan for 3 days Jungle Safari and back to Kathmandu via a flight.  I am very thankful to my guide and the organizer Sabbatical Explore Nepal for the best trip arrangement even for a short time. As we have discussed at the farewell dinner together I am sure to be back with my other working colleague.
