Day 10: Hike to Paro Taktsang Monastery or the Tiger?EUR(TM)s Nest.
Day 1: Arrive at Kathmandu Airport
We’ll be at Kathmandu Airport already before your arrival time to give you the warmest welcome. Once you finish all the arrival work, we’ll drive you to your hotel, where you’ll take full-on rest. We’ll invite you for a welcome dinner later in the evening. We’ll also have a little chat about the itinerary with the team of Nepal, Bhutan, and Tibet Tour during the dinner. Overnight in Kathmandu’s hotel.
Day 2: Full day Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour
The place you’ll land in, Kathmandu, is a valley of ancient temples and architecture. So we will spend the day exploring the valley of the temples. Right after our breakfast at the hotel, we’ll march on to the inspiring places of the valley. Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Basantapur Durbar Square, and Patan Durbar Square are some of the places we’ll try to explore on the day. The explorative walks to these places will make us aware of Nepal’s attractive architecture and unique culture. We’ll come to know why Nepal’s architecture is so famous around the world. After the sightseeing, we’ll be back in the hotel for the rest.
Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara
Via a bus heading to the west of Nepal, we’ll be on our way to Pokhara, the amazingly beautiful city. It will be a drive of 5-6 hours over a scenic highway full of Nepal’s countryside views. As we reach Pokhara, we’ll take some rest at the hotel in Pokhara. Feeling refreshed, we’ll spend the evening time of the day around the Lakeside of Phewa Lake doing a boat ride and walking by the lake. From the shore of the lake, we’ll see breathtaking views of the Pokhara Valley. After the picture and all, we’ll retrace back to the hotel.
Day 4: Full Day Sightseeing Tour of Pokhara
We’ll start this exciting day with an early morning drive to the nearest hill station, Sarangkot. It will be an excursion to witness an awe-inspiring sunrise and mountain panorama. We will then start exploring the other significant places to visit in Pokhara like Begnas Lake, Seti Gandaki Gorge, Mahendra Cave, Devi’s Fall, World Peace Stupa, World Mountain Museum. It will be such an explorative day across the beautiful mountains and lakes. The night will be back in the hotel.
Day 5: Drive from Pokhara to Chitwan
Now we head for Chitwan via a picturesque drive of 5-6 hours. Chitwan is a wonderland for jungle adventures in Nepal, and we’ll reach there around the afternoon. We’ll check in, take some good food, and rest. Then we’ll do what other visitors usually do on the first day of the Chitwan Jungle Safari Tour. We’ll walk out for a sunset view from the banks of Rapti River and then to a Tharu(Local) Village for a cultural performance. Doing all of these will bring us back to the hotel in Chitwan.
Day 6: Full Day in Chitwan National Park
This will be one of the important days of Nepal, Bhutan, and Tibet Tour; the jungle safari day in Chitwan National Park. So to get the quest started, we’ll go out in the woods after breakfast. The visit will begin with a tour to an elephant breeding center of the park. Then we’ll opt for an elephant and jeep safari to view the lives around the jungle. If fortunate, we’ll see endangered species like the One-Horned Rhino and Bengal Tiger. Likewise, we’ll have plenty of other options as well to keep up the day going from Canoe Ride in the Rapti River, Birds watching in Bishazari Lake, to tranquil jungle walks. It will be a day well spent in the woods of the oldest national park of Nepal. Engulfing all of the happenings of Chitwan National Park, we’ll get back to the hotel for the night.
Day 7: Drive from Chitwan to Kathmandu
It is time to return to the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu by leaving the peace of Chitwan. We’ll take a bus ride to Kathmandu, which will happen for 6-7 hours through a scenic highway. After arriving back in Kathmandu’s hotel, we’ll take a full-on rest. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 8: Fly from Kathmandu to Bhutan?EUR(TM)s Paro
Our time in Nepal is done, for now, so we’ll fly to Bhutan, the last Shangri-La. The flight will be 1 hour and 17 minutes long over the Himalayas. We’ll witness striking visions of the Himalayas stretched over Nepal, India, and Bhutan throughout the flight. Mt Everest and Mt Kanchenjunga will also appear in the picture. Upon landing at Paro Airport, one of the most treacherous airports in the world, we’ll complete our on-arrival formalities. Then our team in Bhutan will welcome us to provide a hotel transfer. We’ll spend some hours resting in our hotel in Thimpu, the capital of Bhutan. If possible, we’ll go out to visit some of the nearby places in Paro like Paro or Rinpung Dzong and Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan. Overnight in the hotel in Thimpu.
Day 9: Sightseeing Tour in Thimpu
Now we’ll start exploring around Thimphu, the largest city in the country and a perfect place to know Bhutan’s culture, people, and architecture. It will be a full touring day in Thimpu, where we’ll visit places like National Memorial Chorten, Takin Sanctuary, Folk Heritage Museum, Tashichho Dzong. This day will probably be the best day of the Nepal, Bhutan, and Tibet Tour as we learn many things about Bhutan. After paving our way to the sites of Thimpu, we’ll drive towards Paro to settle in a hotel for the night.
Day 10: Hike to Paro Taktsang Monastery or the Tiger?EUR(TM)s Nest.
All excited, we’ll kick off another big day of the tour, the day to visit the famous Tiger’s Nest. It will be a hiking day of 4-5 hours to the monastery located at 3,180m. To visit the monastery perched on the rock is a must-do thing in Bhutan. Along the way, we’ll enjoy the fresh breeze and lush & green vegetation. Upon reaching the monastery, we’ll cherish the views and the ambiance of the place. Then we’ll hike back to the valley for the night.
Day 11: Fly from Bhutan to Kathmandu
Our time in Bhutan on this Nepal, Bhutan, and Tibet Tour will end with a flight back to Kathmandu. The flight will take one hour to bring us to the capital of Nepal. Along the flight time, we’ll witness the amazing mountains of the Himalayas once again. In this way, we’ll land in Kathmandu yet again. Overnight in Kathmandu’s hotel.
Day 12: Fly from Kathmandu to Lhasa, Tibet
Now we’ll go on to Tibet, the roof of the world. Taking our breakfast, we’ll enter an aircraft from Kathmandu Airport for Gongkhar Airport of Lhasa. Enjoying the breathtaking mountain and landscape views again, we’ll reach Tibet after an hour of flight time. Our Tibetan guide will be there at the airport to receive us and provide a hotel transfer. We’ll rest the fullest as we’ll have to acclimatize to the altitudes of Tibet. Overnight in Lhasa.
Day 13: Full Day Lhasa Sightseeing Tour
We begin unturning the stones in Lhasa as soon as we leave the hotel. Lhasa, one of the highest cities in the world, is full of cultural and historical sites. We’ll start the day by visiting Potala Palace, the winter palace of the Dalai Lamas’ back in the 50s, and a museum now. We’ll explore quite a few chapels, shrines, statues of the castle, and a striking view of Lhasa City. Following the Palace, we’ll move to Norbulingka Palace, the summer palace of the Dalai Lamas. Along with the architecture of the castle, the place is also famous for its treasure garden. Lastly, we’ll pay a visit to the Tibet Traditional Hospital, known for meditation, treatment, research, training, and medicine production. And we’ll return to our hotel in Lhasa for the night.
Day 14: Full Day Lhasa Sightseeing Tour
Lhasa is a big city with many cultural and historical heritage sites; we cannot explore the city in one day. So we’ll have another full day to explore the Tibetan city. Today, we’ll start with a visit to Drepung Monastery, a big monastery which homes many monks. Next, we move to Sera Monastery, a picturesque monastery of golden roofs and white walls. We’ll learn about Tibetan history, art, and culture all day long. Afterward, Jokhang Temple, a sacred Tibetan Temple, will welcome us to impart its history and art. Likewise, we’ll ramble thoroughly around a famous market of Lhasa City, Barkhor Bazaar. We can also buy various souvenirs for ourselves from the market. If possible, we’ll also reach for Drayerpa Cave, a tranquil meditation area with over 30 caves. After a busy sightseeing day, we’ll trace back to the hotel for the night.
Day 15: Fly from Lhasa to Kathmandu
Our lovely time in Lhasa will come to its end when we’ll move towards Gongkhar Airport for returning to Kathmandu. Enjoying the similar mountain views, we’ll drop back in Kathmandu. We’ll go straight to the hotel for a rest. Later, we can go out for some shopping for souvenirs from the streets of Kathmandu. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 16: Departure from Nepal
